Enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) for your SiteManager Company

Make it easier for your team to log in and collaborate by connecting your company’s login system to SiteManager.

What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets your team members log in to SiteManager using your company’s own login system — so they don’t need to create or remember separate SiteManager accounts.

Currently, we support Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) as an identity provider.

Why Use SSO?

  • 🔐 Safer logins: Your team signs in using accounts you already manage.

  • 🚀 Faster onboarding: New team members can log in without needing invites.

  • 👥 Less hassle: No extra passwords or account setups needed.

How to get started?

Navigate to your Company Settings, here choose the SSO tab.
If this is your first time using SSO, click the activate button (as shown below).

You will now see the SSO Settings, to get started with SSO we need an Identity Provider.
In this example, we will use Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).

Click on Add Identity Provider and fill in the required info.
Your redirect URL will be visible in Identity Providers list in SSO settings after adding the Identity Provider.

Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)

Microsoft Entra ID allows you to configure your Identity Provider via a configuration URL, skipping the need to fill in all fields manually. You can find this in Microsoft Entra ID under the name OpenID Connect metadata document in the Endpoints section.

If you do not have the required info yet, you can follow along with Microsoft's documentation on how to register an application in Microsoft Entra ID.

After registering your application, add a new platform configuration to your app's authentication for the Web and enable ID tokens.

After adding your first Identity Provider, your settings will look as follows.

The custom company URL is generated by default, based on your company name or a random generated slug if the name is no longer available. You can change this at any time, but be aware that this will also affect the callback URL of your application(s) and thus break already existing Identity Providers.

You can also adjust the default Role and Access given to new team members added via SSO.

People won't be able to sign up via your Company's SSO if you do not have a Team Member slot available in your Company. Read more here.
